John Frederick Walker is an author and artist.
He has written two books on natural history, A Certain Curve of Horn and Ivory’s Ghosts, and contributed to a number of publications, including The Washington Post, National Geographic News, and World Policy Journal.
Walker’s art has been exhibited in solo and group shows nationally, and is represented in private and public collections, including the Yale University Art Gallery, the Brooklyn Museum of Art, and the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D. C.
He lives in Connecticut with his wife, journalist and author Elin McCoy.
